San Angelo

Concho Christmas Celebration

Concho Christmas Celebration was founded in 1994 to enhance the enjoyment of the Christmas Season by providing an annual light display. The event also contributes to the economic vitality of the Concho Valley area by providing and promoting a destination event which brings people into the City of San Angelo. The first Concho Christmas was established as a walking tour in the El Paseo de Santa Angela area featuring several lighted scenes and 21 sponsor Christmas cards.   

Today, the Tour of Lights has grown into a 2.5 mile drive along the banks of the Concho River and features over 3 million lights. Concho Christmas has evolved its programming from a small static light display, to consist of a Live Nativity scene; the Community Tree Lighting Ceremony; the Lights of Christmas Parade; Bike Through the Lights, a bicycle ride with Santa; Run Rudolph Run, a walk/run event; the annual Tuba Christmas concert; Kayak Through the Lights, a night-time float along the beautiful Concho River; theKCSA FM 97.1 FM radio broadcast and the extraordinary light tour.

Up in Lights

Up in Lights is the only drive-through Christmas lights park located within the Tyler city limits. With over a million lights, Up In Lights is one of the best places to Celebrate the Holidays in Tyler.

The Park is located two miles north of Interstate 20 on FM 14, north of Tyler, on Park Road 16. 

Take a break from the holiday rush.

Drive through the Cedar Point, Lakeview and Big Pine Camping Loops and enjoy a Pineywoods Christmas in lights. Make sure to visit the Park Store for refreshments and shop for unique gifts. Campers staying with us for this event are encouraged to decorate their sites.

Trail of Lights

It includes 14 magical nights at Zilker Park, where you can wander through the 2 million lights strung across the 300+ acres of the park.

The Austin Trail of Lights is a community event that invites 400,000 people every year to come celebrate the holidays in the heart of Austin, Texas during the month of December. The event showcases everything that we love about Austin—from music and food to creativity and family fun

Come experience Christmas in Cleburne like you've never experienced it before! Lights in and around downtown, and all over the city! Activities in and near Hulen Park. Business participation like never before! And of course the familiar Lighted Christmas Parade.

Adding to the fun will be food vendors, children train rides around the park on this night and other selected days.

After the parade, the celebration continues at Hulen Park with food & gift vendors and a special visit by Santa & Mrs. Claus. In addition to the parade, don’t miss all the other fun activities during this popular Cleburne holiday celebration.

Holiday at the Dallas Arboretum

Celebrate the start of the holidays with the official tree lighting ceremony and one of the first trees to be lit in the city. Warm drinks are available for purchase, the gazebos are lit for the first time this season, Santa Claus is here, and Holiday Cheer carolers stroll through the garden to fill the evening with music. Gather in the center of the property at 7pm as we flip the giant switch and light the tree to begin Holiday at the Arboretum.

Many other special Christmas and holiday events are scheduled during November and December.

Hidalgo Festival of Lights

Festival of Lights is one of the largest Christmas light display in Texas. Visitors can explore the nine-mile illuminated wonderland on a train or trolley tour — or enjoy the journey in the comfort of their own vehicle (*tune your radio to 91.1)!

The festival also offers a dinner, concert, trolley tour package that includes a roast beef supper, complete with musical entertainment and a trolley or train ride through the lights.

The weekend will begin with The City of Lufkin Christmas parade. Saturday morning starts off with The ADAC Reindeer Run and Donuts with Santa, and continues with a Strongest Santa Competition, food trucks, downtown shopping, live performances and the Lighting of Rudolph the Red Nose Pumping Unit.



Annual Wonderland of Lights Festival

The City of Marshall, Marshall Convention and Visitors Bureau and Marshall Main Street Program invite you to explore "Candy Wonderland of Lights" this holiday season.

The festival runs Tuesday through Sunday nights from 6:00pm to 9:00pm., and Saturdays from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. The Wonderland of Lights is closed every Monday, as well as on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The Christmas Parade will start promptly at 5:30pm and run from R.J. Wollom Elementary School along FM 1764 to Highway 6 to Warpath Drive.

Santa Claus is ALWAYS our Grand Marshal and will be available after the parade in Mae S. Bruce Library for the Little's to sit with and share their Christmas wishes.

The local Rotary International clubs are hosting the Tyler Christmas Parade.

The Christmas Parade will officially welcome the holiday season, and most importantly the arrival of Santa Claus!

The Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Square will serve as the finale. The parade is sponsored by the three Tyler Rotary International clubs: Rotary Club of Tyler, South Tyler Rotary, and Sunrise Rotary.

The Christmas Parade will be fun for the whole family and everyone is encouraged to attend this festive event!

This year’s parade theme is “Rotary Connects the World” and winners will be selected in six categories: Best Holiday Theme, Best Band, Brightest Entry, Spirit Award, Most Creative, and Best Decorated Vehicle. This year parade organizers are asking each entry to pay a small entry fee to offset expenses.
