Texans love their festivals and fairs, as evidenced by the hundreds of these events held each year.  We celebrate just about every crop harvested, every indigenous dish, and every type of music that's played here.

Throughout the year, music, food, history and holidays inspire festivals and events of all sizes throughout East Texas.

Included below is a list of highlights of the extensive festival season and major events scheduled in East Texas during 2021. We are still updating this list; events are noted as "TBA" where we do not have scheduled dates.

The list focuses on long-running festivals and those with widespread appeal.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Events are always subject to change. We recommended you contact the responsible event sponsor to confirm dates, times and other details.

In addition, concern over the spread of the Corona virus has resulted in cancellation or postponement of many East Texas events.

Check with individual festival sponsors to determine the latest schedules and information.
